I noticed, it's kind of strange he calls me "ey". Do you think he is shy or... something? What do you guys think?

He is being disrespectful to you,and you should correct him.If it bothers you enough to ask, then you should tell him that you would prefer to be called by your name(which I take as not being "EY"!!!).lol

It probably means that he has a very bad memory. If you are female, he can't really call you "dude" or "buddy". He would probably cause problems if he called you "babe". Just tell him that you answer better to your name, he may be very happy to hear the name again.

Mayhaps he's forgotten it? Don't know how well you know him. I'd use it in telling a story and make it obvious it's your name, and let him pick that up.

He could be shy and feel uncomfortable using your name. Try using his name more often, make sure he knows yours and see what happens.

It means he is having a short circuit between his tongue and his brain. Whatever it is, he can't be much of a gentleman. "ey" is for cats, dogs or someone who bumps into you on the sidewalk.

maybe he cant pronounce it lol why don't you just ask him what is his problem and remind him you were given a name at birth and you would appreciate it if he called you by it!! and ignore him when he calls you anything else but your name or nickname whatever.....but just make it sink in that you ain't easy or his pet so call me by my god given name!! good-luck.....train his narrow minded, stubborn and rude ***!

he's forgotten it, doesn't know how to pronounce it, or just prefers to call you by a nickname.
