I am from TX, so there are only like 2 months out of the year when its too cold for Flip Flops. Anyway, my G/F bought me a pair and I am wondering what the general feeling is on guys wearing flip flops. I think my feet look ok, and they are comfortable, but I always felt that sandals were for girls since they have better looking feet. On the other hand it does get very, very hot here in the summers, and flip flops may come in handy.

Unless we're talking about high heels there's not a fashion do and don't on foot wear on that matter you're mentioning and yes, I must agree that flip-flops come in very handy and fashionable in for men and women in hot sunny weather.

Well it depends on what they look like, I mean they can't be girly looking or anything but my brothers where flip flops all the time they don't look bad at all. Oh I'm from TX. too so I know what you mean.

It depends....if you are at the beach yes...at a party NO!!!! Personally I hate it when guys wear flip flops!!! Just something about them is very girly it is defiantly a turn off!!! With the exception of at the beach, pool, gym, etc!!!! Do not wear them shopping, to the movies, and defiantly not to watch a football game.. I can guarantee you your guy friends will laugh!!!!!

Men with a strong sense of their own masculinity have no problem wearing flip flops if they indeed like them enough and are comfy in them.

Nothing wrong with guys wearing flip flops. But just make sure your outfit is laid back so it matches. Otherwise it can look silly.

In my opinion.. flip flops do not look good on guys!! But if you like them.. wear them I know a lot of guys around here do.
I just personally odn't like them

Yeah, wear them and if you dont wear socks make sure your feet are nicely clean and moisturized with your toenails trimmed. My boyfriend wears them and I also see lots of other guys wearing them. Only wear them casually not to a club or anything like that

I use to wear flip flops, but changed to sandles for more comfort.

Absolutley! Loosen up. I wear them alot and who cares what you look like anyway. I live in Calif. Nevada and Michigan and wear them in all three places. Not when it is raining or snowing of course but why not? It should be about comfort. Dare to be different. Also, nobody cares what your feet look like and even if they did who cares what they think?

Flip flops are for girls and Jesus. If you're not either, stick to shoes and boots. But since you have a girl (and she bought them for you), it doesn't really matter anymore does it?
