It really depends on which 350. Stock, 4500 to 8500 RPM.
High Performance, 6500 to 15,000 RPM.

The Maxx Rpm for a 350 stock is 6500. But If not than It should be 5500 Rpm. It also depends on the Drive Train.

If it's wornit will have a "ridge" built into the cylinder. The top ring of the piston will break if it hits this ridge. To break the ring in this situation only takes about 4500+RPM. Tread Lightly in a 75,000+ mile engine!

"sparky" is a DA- never rev stock 350 to 8500. and no V8 engine on the planet turns 15,000!!!
NEWay -stock 2bolt, Quadrajet? 5500-6000 should be 'possible' if in good shape, BUT the engine doesnt produce good power that high so why turn it higher than its designed?
easy way to check overreving problem- does it break tires loose or snatch really hard when you hit next gear? over rev!
does it bog down when you hit next gear? under rev!
