what I'm saying is how come the land it self dose not have any trace of pigs in it (I knew that the people don't eat it). and when I meant by the holy land I mean the middle East over all. Is it because the land is holy that the "unclean" animal dose not step over it soil...

This is one area that both the Jewish people and the Muslims agree on.... Pork products... neither group eats pork.... For various religious reasons... mostly dealing with "clean" and "unclean" animals and dietary laws.
Since they are the majority of the folk living in Israel.... the pork industry/pig farms are not an important part of the agricultural industry.
Bet if you looked up sheep, goats, chickens... probably a very different story then!

Israel is the land God arranged for the Jews to live in. For centuries the Jews have not eaten pig meat. the Bible states the laws surrounding 'clean' and 'unclean' animals. The pig is one of the unclean ones, and the Jews do not eat it.

Ergo (latin for 'therefore') there are probably no pig farms in Israel. I don't think it is illegal for a person to keep a pig however, though I have not live there. It seems that some Gentile might want a ham now and then!!

Some of these food restrictions have to do with cultural identity. The Israelites were nomadic, and you don't drive a herd of pigs as you travel. Animals with cloven hooves that chew their cud are able to graze anywhere and are suited to a nomadic existance. There are other reasons behind certain foods, for example the unleavened bread prepared for the flight from Egypt. It wasn't because they were so hurried they didn't have time to let bread rise, but that puffy loaves of bread don't keep well and are bulky. So they made the oldest form of bread, which is meal moistened and baked into flatbread, a form of dense cracker. Hardtack. That's perfect for survival food when traveling. It preserves the grain meal; it's ready to eat.
