tend to be more hostile, mean, uncaring and immediatley attach the pro lifers?
Iam a big time prolife person, I never shove my opinions down anyones throat, I never judge anyone who had an abortion (whats done is done, I can only prevent, or try to) I have found that alot of pro choicers basically have a *** you attitude and are very selfish...its like there way or no way.
Now remember I never ALL pro choicers, but most...
Also I dont anyone who bombed a clinic, a real pro lifer wont kill the abortionist or his staff, just try to change a few minds from doing such a thing, pro life is pro life no matter who you are or what you do for a living.

I'm pro life also... A true one like you. But the fact that there has been bombings and stuff in the name of "pro choice"
...whatta conundrum...does present evidence to the contrary. And I do tend to vocalize a little..of just what I think of abortion. Hardly cramming it down anyones throat, but hopefully instilling enough guilt to change peoples minds...
I was actually prochoice before I got pregnant with my first kid. Coz I thought..well its their body right? Not my choice obviously... At ten week gestation I got this little pin that was an exact duplicate of 10 week old embryo feet. I saw those ten little toes and realized...babies are still legally abortable by that age. The thought just sickened me and it has ever since. And now I personally know of a family who has spent well beyond their savings trying to get pg...when the girl next door has aborted 3 knowing full well of their circumstance.

OK hold on why i laugh HAHAHAHAHA
Ok so your not trying to shove your opinions down peoples throats? Right look at your post just change a few minds HA.
And pro-choicers are selfish? I think not we just care more about the LIVING children then "viable life"
You know pro-lifers are some of the most selfish people actually i mean you all want to save viable life but the second the child is born its "get ride of wic" " not you adopt them" "well they killed that person... so DEATH PENALTY" Crazy hypocrital

I had an experience with a pro lifer a few years back that really shocked me. My boss had asked me to take a package to her sister one day and unknown to me she worked at an abortion clinic. I happened to be pregnant at the time with my 1st child and just starting to show. when I got to the address this woman ran up to me and started screaming all kinds of obscinaties at me and telling me what a stupid and bad person I was. I was speechless I had never seen anyone behave like this. One of her fellow pro lifers came over and took her away while another apologized.
From that experience I've learned that you can get these type of people on both sides of the issue. While I don't agree with this kind of behavior I can see how worked up someone can get about it.
I have to add that I have friends who are one or the other and we seem to be able to have rational if not passionate discussions about this without hurting our friendships we just try to make our case to each other. I think you just have to keep your head up and keep doing what you feel is right and try not to give these people power over you by ever sinking to thier level or acknowledging thier tactics.

Not really. But I guess we could be at sometimes. I mean, its so annoying to constantly here people saying "its not the way god intended it" or to hear them "claim" they are doing god's work. No, you are not. Did you ever meet god? No. Most of them never even read the bible or took a theology class.
If you cant stand heated debates and people being opinionated, well, then just keep your opinions to yourself.
And don't generalize all of us as having a fcuk you attitude. Dont group us all together. You have not met all of us. Not all pro choicer's have a yahoo account. Dont categorize us. Its not right, its disrespectful, and it would be like me calling a pro-life activist (which very little are activists' most people dont teach what they preach) a bible hugger. I think you would take offense to that.

Being pro-choice, I've noticed the same qualities in some of the pro-lifers I have met. I think it's unfair to take the very extreme of each side and make a generalization about every member of that ideology. The point of pro-choice is CHOICE; it's not my place to impose my beliefs on anyone, only to support whatever choice they make.
I find it interesting that most pro-lifers think that pro-choice means pro-abortion. I think you can be pro-life AND pro-choice; one is ideological, the other political. In a perfect world, if you didn't want to have the choice, you'd either use effective birth control or abstain from sex. But that's in a perfect world.

No. I guess it just depends on whose side you are on, on who you see as hostile. Trust me, I have felt threatened many a time whenever this topic comes up, and a pro-life person isn't exactly thrilled that I don't agree with them.
I am pro-choice, and I would never press my views on anyone. I mean... the key word is choice (in my personal philosophy).
But then again, I am a vegetarian, and everyone treats me like one of the PETA fanatics.
It's terrible that a few people's poor social actions ruin the reputation of the rest of the population that may share the same viewpoints.

i'm pro choice but i don't act anything like what you claim all the pro choicers are like. i don't shove my opinion down people's throats either. and i don't have a *** you attitude, and i'm not selfish.
i'm 32 weeks pregnant right now, and i can't wait until my baby comes. one of the best part of having the baby, is looking at him/her for the first time in their eyes and telling them how much you love them.

Regardless of what "side" I'm on, I think you are doing what you believe you aren't, which is shoving your opinons out in the world, but we all do so...
Look, you shouldn't generalize people and try ot compart-mentalize them. People don't work like that and politics certaintly never have.
Please don't post things like this. They cause rifts and plant ideas into peoples heads that ALL pro-lifers act like this.
So just stop.

Actually...... that goes both ways. Pro choice people can be mean, but so can pro lifers. (Oh... and those pro-lifers who blow up abortion clinics KILLING humans while they are so "don't kill.. let live" are worse than any pro-choice person).
