I did twice....2 different guys. One I regretted almost immediately...the other one actually worked out ok for both of us.

Absolutely not. If I were to have sex with someone because I felt sorry for him I would not be doing him or myself any favors.
If I felt sorry for him it would mean that I did not truly care about him for who he is, and I do not have sex with people I do not care about as a person. If there is a perception of feeling sorry for him, it would be more of a problem with me than with him.

Yes I have and it was truly a mistake. You sell yourself short and you give the other person false hopes. Sex should not be used in this manner, as it is a expression of mutual love and affection between 2 people.

A lot of prostitutes and strippers are single moms and feel that the only way to make a living for themselves and children is by selling their body. Do I sleep with them? No. Do I feel sorry for them H$!! no.

Yes.
Hosestly my situation was a strange one. I didn't realise that that was what I was doing at first. I care about people and would want to comfort them and physically be close to them and things would go south from there. I didn't think of it as a pity situation but in retrospect it completely was.

That's a good way to keep getting used for someone else's sexual gratification.
And I think it's a female thing. Gay or straight, Mr. Happy doesn't deal with compassion. He's got a brain, but not a heart. He's not interested in sad, pathetic, emotional situations.

I never did it because I felt sorry for them, only in spite of that. And it still didn't end up well.
