Where things said that would kill the friendship? Names called that were really bad? Do you still what to have this person as a Friend? If so, send this person a note that you are sorry and what to stay friends. Then it's up to that person. If you have been friends"forever" ,that person is felling hurt too. Like you, not sure what to do. But make the effort, good friends are hard to find.

The way I get over fights with friends and family is simple. I look back at all the good times I have had with them. I write them down and I weigh what the fight was about against our history together. Love overcomes all things. I corinthians 13 4-8 defines love read it and you will get over whatever you were fighting about. You will also learn a more excellent way to deal with friends , family, even strangers. good luck Tim

If you value this friendship, take the higher road and be the first to appologize, even if you feel you did nothing wrong. Good friends are rare. Yet we all have moment when we say and do things we regret. It takes a real friend to break the ice dam and be big enough to admit fault. If you get int arguement again, don't shout...!!! Just calmly tell her/him, or even write it to her/him, how what she/he did, made you feel.... They may not be aware of what caused the problem in the first place. There may be a miscommunication, misunderstanding, or just a bad day....
So forgive and go on....and don't bring it up again.

Well..me and my friend always get into fights..but we get over it because i know that if we are mad at eachother for longer our friendship will be ruined. And your friend should know that if he/she really values ur friendship and i suppose he/she does since you guys have been friends forever tell him/her that the past is in the past and leave it behind you guys. If your friendship is really strong it doesnt matter how big ur fight was ur still gunna make it through!

We can't answer that for you. We don't know what the fight was all about. Nor what was said, back and forth.

Do you still like this friend? Do you think this friend still likes you?

Play it neutral. Dont beg your friend to be your friend again. But, dont say nasty things, either.

Time may change things for you.
