I like word games like "Scrabble", "Upwords" or "Boggle".
"Pictionary" is fun too.
If you're a movie buff and have a DVD player then "Scene It" is good.

The game of Life. My whole family enjoy playing this one together. The youngest who is 8 to the oldest who is 38, all have a great time with this game.

there is the new sorry and the new uno they both have machines that are really cool. not that expensive either, ijust got them. and then there is aggrivation, which is always fun. there is also a new trouble on the market now, it is the newest version and it is very cool. and scrabble. the monopolies they have out now are nice. they come in all kinds of themes. good luck and i hope these help. merry christmas.

monopoly is a classic game that me and my family play and we have so much fun for such a long time. also apples to apples is a great game for an intellectual crowd.

Balderdash is one of my favorites.. you get these words that no one's ever heard of and get to make up definitions and try and guess the correct one.
Cranium is another good one, that involves several different topics like word stuff, trivia, drawing, etc.
Pictionary is great too, especially if you love to doodle/draw.
