and though I got most of it off, there are a couple drops just inside the lip of the disk drive. I'm concerned about it scratching CD's, or even getting knocked back inside. Does anyone know of a way to get it out? Nothing's in there deep, just a couple spatters in the front. I just don't want to knock it inside the computer.

Gravity is your friend. Turn the computer over to the point that the wax is on the bottom. Scrape it out and let gravity do the rest.
