I believe it is better to give than to receive. I'm just having trouble figuring out what to get people for Christmas.

Depends on what you are getting! Usually I get more of a thrill out of giving someone the perfect present than getting one. Like just last week I took my best friend to see the musical Wicked because she couldn't afford tickets....she has wanted to go Forever and is having a hard time paying her college student loans. The look on her face when I told her where we were going was priceless!

better to give, the appriciation and look on a friend's face is priceless. It doesn't have to be an expensive gift; just somthing with heart and soul. Ditto with sending cards to your friends, though the instant reward isn't as good.

Yes it is. Without looking for something in return God always gives back to the giver if done generously and for the right reason.

I believe that it is much more satisfying to give. I like the warm feeling that it gives me inside. It always makes me feel so good to see other people with a smile on their face.
