Building an acrylic fingernail?

I'm Cosmetology school, I have to make a fingernail to pass state board. I'm TERRIBLE at it and I hate doing it, I just wanna do hair! DAMN!

Any tips on making one a lil better, much thanks!

Practice, practice, practice! Try not to use too much acrylic.
