Evolution should be taught. And it is.
But it is taught as a scientific theory.
Contrary to some of the other remarks to your question, I would like to point out that creationsum IS taught ins chool.
Evolution is taught thoroughly in the 7th grade, and Creationism(for three different religions!!!) are taught in the ninth grade, bacause it is a much harder concept to grasp.
These ideas are distributed equally and proportionally and ALL they do is present you with theories. You have the right to form your OWN opinions about them.
I am a ninth grader , and I have been going to public school for four years.
I know.

Of course it should! Christian parents should also learn about evolution and teach their children that it does not conflict with the Bible in any way. Atheists and people who simply don't know the facts aside, no one is refuting the possibility that evolution could have been set in motion by a creator. My father is very religious and he's a scientist. He studied evolution and when it came up, he said to me, "Evolution is the method in which God created this world like a painter with a paintbrush and paints." Religion doesn't have to be and should not be anti-science. Anti-science and intellectual backlash is something that does not belong in Western society, so yes, evolution should be taught. Creationism and religion is the responsibility of parents, but parents too must have the responsibility of being educated themselves. Of course, all children come to the point in their lives where they can disagree with Mom and Dad and think for themselves. Why fear that?

ONLY as a THEORY as is any other THEORY. YOu can teach your own theory as well and at the same time if you want to. I would personally show students that it is impossible for a watch in parts placed in a bag and shook for 8,000 year to become anything but Watch Parts. It will never reassemble itself. Also it has never been found that ANY species ever became a different species in all of the years that earth has been here. Most scientists agree that the earth could never by chance have life just "appear" on it. To have a creation there must be a CREATOR! The watch that we spoke of is a simple instrument yet it can not hope to assemble itself. The human body is a major accomplishment. Genesis 1 says that Man was created from the dust of the earth. Have a great holiday!

Yes because there is actually proof to back up its claims. reality should be taught in schools. As Each year passes Scientists are finding pieces to the missing links or humanity. All you have to do is pick up a National Geographic Magazine and you will see.

If it is taught as a scientific belief and not that of the Bible. Everyone should be taught that it is there choice on what to believe or not. Once you have both sides which is fair to all you have to make up your own mind.

Teach evolution as a THEORY, not as fact.
Teach Creationism as a THEORY, not as fact.
Then the learner has to make up his mind using other methods for trusting what is taught.
Belief in God, the Bible, Neanderthal man's origins, Carbon Dating, and all the other ideas that support those two sets of stuff comes from faith, and not fact.
How can you prove God exists? But I believe He does. My life is a shining example of God's existence. How else could I have given up my life of drug use and madness?
I believe that God is able to make a world that LOOKS as though it has evolved, with layers of fossils just where they should be and dinosaurs in rocks millions of years old. He can make the stars be 10,000 light years away, no problemo. HE IS GOD you know!! Or ten million light years away. Not hard for a creator, actually.

Yes. It it the unifying theorem in biology, explaining the diversity of life and its relatedness, and reconciling it with molecular processes.

no. I personally have nothing against it, and believe that anything could have happened. I believe in God and the Bible and everything too. But there's too many people who are completely against it.
