The 1951 version of "A Christmas Carol," starring Alistair Sims.
This actor's performance as he is transformed from the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge to the warm-hearted, compassionate man he becomes after he is visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future, is so heartwarming. I've seen other versions with different actors, but in my opinion, this actor captures the essence of a man who finds salvation and redemption.
