ESSENCE OF HUMAN RACE is -

Creation has to be viewed as a Cosmic Stage. God is the director and actor in this play. He assigns all the roles of the characters in the play. All creatures in the world are manifestations of the Divine. The good and the evil in the world are varied expressions of the same Divine consciousness. Man should not be misled by these expressions. Behind all the myriad actions of the actors, the Divine Director is at work. It should be realised that though names and forms may vary, languages and nationalities may be different, the human race is one in its divine essence.

Ute Bublitz (1998)

Beyond Philosophy
Reconciliation and Rejection
Three Essays on Aristotle and Hegel

"Nature engenders nature, and nature only, in its reproduction and in its life. The rose brings forth more roses, never anything ‘unnatural’ or ‘unrose-like’. The human being creates humanity, but with this difference: what is human can at the same time be either ‘human’ or ‘inhuman’. The results of human action range from creations which fill our hearts and souls with lasting strength and delight, to crimes whose shame no atonement can wipe off the face of the earth.

The human being — and only the human being — can create something inhuman. Thus, insofar as the inhuman deed has been done by a human being, it is a human deed, an inhuman human deed. ‘An inhuman human action’ or ‘an inhuman human life’, may sound illogical, but these utterances describe a certain reality with perfect accuracy. If we want to call their meaning ‘contradictory’, then this contradiction expresses the truth of a contradictory reality, a contradictory life. And it is because they convey a truth of life, that we are compelled to look at them, even if logic can't cope with them. Let us attempt to disentangle their complex underlying content."

The essence of the human race, is our ability to make history. Through love, art, war, everything we create history. No other known lifeforms create a lasting impression other than what is left of their corpse.

We are the most adaptable species of animal presently on the earth that is also able to solve abstract problems, use tools, and communicate in both an oral and written language.
Some may add that the most unique thing about us is that we are at the top of the food chain, although this may only be true from our point of view and not from that of creatures such as bacteria or bugs (assuming they were to have a point of view).

Make more.

Or, as I've heard, the essence of most all life seems to come down to the three F's: feeding, fighting, and mating. Of course, most fighting is really about either feeding or mating--usually mating.

first of all...God created us with a purpose...but he loves us enough that He gives us free will to make our own choices and not be robots that do whatever He wants....we can choose to follow His plan or live for ourselves...so if you want to know your identity, your purpose, to find yourself and your essence...look at your creator first. WE are created in His image, He loved us even though we have failed him greatly, He gave His life for us...there's just no greater love and my life didnt actually begin until i found my true identity in Christ.
