Me and my husband are still married and we recently had twin girls. Since they've been born, he's been acting ignornant accusing me of cheating because they dont look anything like him. I don't have the money to pay for a paternity test and he's not the type to go out and buy one. Is there any way I can take him to family court to prove it through their test even though we are still married? Please help!!!

There is a national network called DNA Diagnostics. It's not cheap but will put both your minds at ease. Is there reason to suspect he might not be the dad? The courts ordering paternity testing means you'll pay for it anyway...so just go direct and avoid the court costs.

The question you have to answer her is not paternity...it's trust. Did you cheat or didn't you cheat will not be answered in the results of DNA. It just merely shows if he is the dad.

Your issues are deeper here. Offer to take a lie detector after the DNA results are in. Unless you have something to hide.

The only way to prove it, is to have a paternity test, ask about making payments, it's cheaper than a devorce, or take a really long shot, and call one of those TV court shows, they pay for the test for you.

I'm not sure if you want this as an example of "what a dad/father is" girls when they grow older. What is happening in his world for him to make such a wild accusations? what has happened in the past with your relationship prior to the children? and what does your gut feeling tell you about your marriage?

DNA test are not that expensive now. make some calls to find a lab in your area, then call a great marriage counselor.

If he's making these accusations and you've NEVER cheated on him........GET OUT! After that, he will be ordered to pay support.....he can then ask for a DNA test, which he'll have to pay for. Either way, if you were married when the kids were born, by law, he's accountable.....

at this point of time they will look like whom ever they wish and later change . It doesn't mean that they are not his.
Can he prove his point. A blood test of the babies will tell him that they are part of his anyhow. And part of yours.
I think the doctor might be able to intercede here and let him know that they are
I find it really sad that he can't believe that they are his babies.
its really a sad that he can't believe what you are telling him.
tell him its time to grow up and believe the things that you say.
The girls need him and so does his wife.
babies will take a look of their own and then suddenly they will look like one or both of you.
I hope that he gets reasonable soon. What is the problem with him, they are his and he should really be happy to have them.
Good luck

Are the children his, hon????? A simple test will prove it. Does he have reason to doubt the children are not his? If he has doubt, then why? Did you cheat???? If you know the children are his, the the next question is why would he think that they were not???? (Then, of course, comes the next question???? If you know they are his, and he knows they are his, why did you marry a jerk like this, who is such a baby?????? If both of you know he is the father, hon you have three babies, not just two....

{I love questions like yours -- (you already know the answer, then say you can't afford it..... )
So, your question is easy --- get the test.

Now this part: "Please help?" you want us to pay for the test???????????? Is this a request for money???

Labs will give paternity tests to anyone, as long as you pay them.

If your husband is adament that they are not his kids, get a test and show him.

Also, remind him that can take years for children to get the facial features of the parents.

Paternity testing is not as expensive as it used to be. You can even do it by mail. Try a google search on the internet for labs that do it.
But you need to get a test now so it is resolved, or it will destroy your relationship and as they get older, it will affect the girls. After all....if he shuns them as not his... even silently, they will know they are not loved.

Best Wishes,

Sue
