boil a gallon of water 1/4 cup laundry soap and a cup of baking soda, that will take care of a grease clog in the kitchen but in the tub it is more likely hair and you might have to resort to something a little more caustic to break it up.

of course a plunger is always handy, but if you dont have one of those around I might know a couple of other tricks. First its a little bit of work but for sure my tub was draining 100% better after this..... you take the plate that is on the front part of the tub, its usually below the bath spout, anyways take that off get a wire hanger and start shoving the hanger down the hole....usually you will come across some big hair balls. keep doing that and it should work. Also someone told me to pour boiling hot water down the drain

Your tub drain is likely clogged with hair so try hooking the hair down the drain with a hanger and get as much crap as you can...then try pouring some javex directly down the drain then follow with boiling water...that should help loosen the guck that is plugging it up.
If that doesn't work get some drano when the store opens cause that my friend does work and it works well. Goodluck!

Using a plunger is a quick but temporary way to get water moving again in any pipe. This always works for me until I can get out and buy some DrainO

My shower does the same thing, once in a while I pour down straight bleach. It seems to eat through something. Or boil hot water. Or use a plunger.

If nothing else works, it may get messy, but the garden hose down the drain might do the trick.
