For 11 years, I had lived in Korea. 1 year in Mexico. 10 years in the U.S. English is my third language. So, if I take my IQ test in English, would it be accurate?

I'm assuming that you would take the IQ test in the language with which you are most comfortable. If you speak/write English as well as you do in Korean, then you shouldn't have any problem with the test. Your experience with languages is impressive and good luck with the test.

I'd say that if you've been in the USA for at least the last 5 years, you should be aware enough of the culture so that the IQ test would not signifigantly impact your result. Because language is very cultural, it can effect an IQ score.

You should not rely on IQ tests to test your intelligence, as they really mean nothing as to what you can do as an individual. However, I think you should be able to understand what you are reading when you are writing the IQ test seeing as you have lived in the States for a decade. But remember don't think that an IQ test can measure your intellegence completely accurutely or your potential to do things in life.

If your English is good, you should be fine. If you're really worried, you should ask the testers about possibly taking it in whatever language you speak best.

maybe because they do time u and if you have truble understanding words or something that you might know in korean or spanish maybe not
