mdl 3506 bought new black friday,hooked up right off the bat internet 6 comes up with security breach,mcafee loses files,micro soft sends patchs but breach is already made,next thing exployer seven was added,exployer 7goes crazy and wont let us back on line,e-machines should not use mcafee,reloading whole system,remember this machine has been on line less than 5 days,e-machine wake this is a wake up call what are you doing??????

I have an eMachine too, 3504, not too far off on the model scale. I deleted mcafee right when I got it, I just don't like virus scanners that much, I get a free scan once a moth from microsoft for free:

my comp has never been better, unless you know what you're doing then I suggest you don't delete it. as for the IE 7, i have it but firefox 2.0 is my primary browser.
I say you need to borrow a friends computer (if the screwed up one is the only one you have) and go to http:\\www.emachines.com\support and then send them an email. I went to them 3 times and the customer service was superb. good luck with the problem
