Skin by Rascal Flatts and Cancer by MCR
I'm a cancer survivor myself. When Skin first came out, I was in the beginning of treatment. The first time I heard that song, I cried like there was no tomorrow. I'm far from a teenager like Sara Beth in the song, but I felt her pain just the same.
Then, I'm out of treatment for a year and MCR comes out with Cancer. My 13 year old daughter is a huge MCR fan...she knows everything about them. She brings me this cd with tears in her eyes and says "Listen". I was moved, I have to admit.
