this can be only a placebo effect (feeling sick).
the period can be delayed from a cold or flue, but i can't be sure . all the possibilities can ocure.

all i can say is what brand did you use? Im 8 weeks pregnant and found out when it was 5 days BEFORE my missed period and I used CLear blue easy digital two tests and both were positive BUT when i went to planned parenthood THe test was Negative.......Twice But i am pregnant and I finally got that confirmed at the doctor because that the only 100% but you also shouldnt stress it can cause your period to be late, and if your on the pill it could be a reaction some people skip periods on the BC pill...so Hope the doc appt goes good for you..

It depends on the brand of test that you used. I took over twelve pregnancy test with my second pregnancy and then I finally went and bought an EPT and it was the only one that was positive. Try a different brand, or just get a blood test done at the doctor's office. I was almost nine weeks pregnant with my daughter before I had a positive, then I made a doctor's appointment and they finalized it for me. Good Luck and I hope everything is fine.

i would say if youre very worried, go to the doctor and have them test you. but if you took a home test and it came out negative, i wouldnt worry too much. its possible to miss your period for a month completely, or for it to just be very late, etc. stress, diet changes, etc can cause your period to vary in time.
dont worry too much, you could just feel sick cuz its winter time or youre stressed-- doesnt mean youre pregnant.

Today's home pregnancy tests are 99.9% accurate. There is probably something else affecting your period. Some possibilities are birth control, antibiotics, stress, or recent change in diet and exercise. Hope this helps.

It could be stress, it's happened to me a couple times. But the best way to find out is to see your doctor and go from there.
