When I hear about how much these actors get per movie I want to cry. There are professions that derserve money but I don't feel actors need 20 million per picture to live. What have we created? It's as if they are a different bread of people. Are they better than us? Or have we put these people on a higher scale.

you think that's bad? I heard that one time Michael Jackson went to the hospital and they cleared out a whole floor so that he could get VIP treatment at the hospital.. and one lady died because all the doctors were too busy taking care of Michael..

no, I don't think celebrities should be treated better.. however if the movie industry is willing to pay them millions of dollars, you can't blame the actors for accepting the money.. same with athletes..

hey there,
I completely agree with you. I think that actors and other famous people chose to do the profession their in as much as we do. So whether your career is something as small as owning a coffee shop or a hockey player its what that person chose to do. Why someone gets paid more to follow their dreams is beyond me. Personally I know I am way more talented than Paris Hilton or Cameron Diaz, so I should get paid more to do something thats more important, than they do to open their legs or be giggly all the time.

you place it nicely and that's stable to particular your frustration with "stars and divas" all around you. some individuals believe they're extra suitable at appearing than others, some others can coach it on point, yet at present, i replaced into thinking why entertainment makes additional funds now than docs, vets, infantrymen, farmers, and all the different occupations that actual help human beings rather of the entertainment marketplace, which facilitates human beings bypass time? activities jocks additionally fall into this class because of fact the sport they play and gets a commission lots to do, is with the help of the fact it entertains those those that watch, yet why is it well worth lots whilst in comparison with what non entertainers do? Do I sound a tad bitter? i'm no longer likely. I also have a good interest and help my kinfolk nicely, so i'm happy they do nicely of their field, yet each so often i'm no longer able to help yet ask your self why they get to realize this nicely.

If you have the talent be it in sports or the preforming arts or any other high dollar profession you are a sought after commodity with the potential to make a large amount of money for someone who is willing to pay you a large amount of money not to take your talent somewhere else. it's a money driven society we live in. it may not seem right to you or me but then again it probably would seem just fine to us if we were the ones cashing those paychecks instead of contributing to them

You are right, they don't deserve that kind of money nor do athletes. Many people work hard just to get by in life. If people are willing to go to movies or stadiums to see those people the more they demand and unfortunately get. They are aren't different than anyone else.

I agree with you, however it is us that pays these people their outrageous salaries. We go to the movies, and football games, etc. We read "People" Magazine and watch "E!" on television. We read about them on line and in the Newspaper. We feed their pocket books and egos. But you are right, we need to be paying our police men, fire men, teachers, and those other professions that really make a difference in the world more money.

Finally some1 with some commen sense!!! I am 31 and have been wondering the same thing for bout 10 yrs. It is absolutely rediculous that these people are outrageously paid. Lets agree that they will probably die old, ugly and alone and no amount of cash will help them when they are too used up. They had better enjoy their cash now while they are able to.

The Lord has blessed them with the talents they have but the Lord has blessed all of us with some kind of talent.
