NO. I don't know what you did, but you probably deserved it. Learn from your mistakes and move on.

I don't know if you're being funny, but if she beat you with a belt, you can call the police on her, but there are two sides to a story, hopefully you didn't provoke her to hit you, what I mean by that is, I hope you were not hitting her with the belt first and then she took it away from you and did the same. If you call the police, tell the truth about what happened.

You could, but if she is just disciplining you and not abusing you it wouldn't be a good idea. You could get put into a foster home which could be must worse than an occasional whooping. I still say if she is really hurting you on a regular basis that maybe you should call the cops.

Tough one- did you do something to deserve discipline. I often find that kids who think to call on their parents are the kids who need the most discipline. A belt is harsh, but you may have had it coming. Think through all of the consequences. Is it worth going to live in a strange home?

If she "beat" you on your butt, for a "reason"(like you took her car without asking, or you lied to her, or you and your friend spray painted your names on your house)-NO WAY.
If she beat you to make herself feel better, maybe. If shes mad at someone else and took it out on you, maybe...
Just remember, you can call the 5 0, but they are not gonna keep her forever. She WILL get out, come home, and probably whip you worse the 2nd time.
I hope that you just had a "spanking" and not an abbusive beating,If you have truly been BEAT-do call someone.

that's harsh. that could be considered as child abuse. and you could call the cops on her. but shes your mom and i wouldn't. and you could have done something really bad and she was teaching you a lesson. if it were me i would really want to call the cops but you know she my mom and i cant even think about somethin like that happening to me.

if that was my mother she would have handed me the phone and dialed the number for me. she would had my bags packed and said when they come they had better take me cause you won't be living here anymore. and then stanked me again for old and new. whatever it was accept it and don't do it again. unless it was something trivial that you did then maybe you have a case.
