Those names are good. Don't listen to these bastards on here talking bout prefering names that are easier to pronounce and stuff like that. And talking about call the baby "food stamp". **** them people. You don't want your child having the same name as everyone else. They need unique names. And who cares if the teacher or someone can't pronounce the name. Oh well, your child can correct them. So, I like those name. And they don't sound like some god damn names a child picked out... Some people on the internet can be so ignorant some days...

yes i definitely like the names
but they sound like "black names" (i dont mean to sound racist or anything, but they do). Having a "black name" can majorly effect your child's future. more than half of their college and job applications and resumes will be just thrown away without being considered at all just because they have a "black name". there was a study on this and it turned out true. i dont want to get too much into this so if you want you can look this up somewhere. i know you just want to be unique with names, but first think about your child's future before naming them.

All I can think of is an Onion (www.theonion.com) about how the most popular baby names among blacks were 'Sinutab,' 'Propecia' -- prescription names.
"I've heard worse" as a rationale for absurdities like that suggests maybe grandma should have a go at naming.
I am _thoroughly_ amused by 'you might as well just call the baby food stamp'...

Its a proven statistic that african americans with "normal" names will have a 70% better chance of getting a job interview than those with "unusual" names. They may be pretty names.... but society will still judge despite how beautiful or intelligent she is. Good luck to you.

If you don't want your child to be one of a million Jessicas or Ashleys, choose a nice older name. I like Hazel, although that's making quite the come back lately.

Personally, I'd go with something simpler yet less common. Like Tara etc.
