I wouldn't go as far as to say I completely disagree with you. I've asked a couple questions myself and yes..it does give you a list of similar questions. And I myself have answered quite a few "could I be"'s.

But there is a lot of emotion involved with that question. I think a number of these women who ask either want to believe very badly that they are or aren't pregnant, that they skip the obvious looking things up and reading things over. I think if the majority of these women wanted to look up pregnancy symptoms, they would simply type..."pregnancy symptoms" in their little google box and look it up themselves. But they want one-on-one input. You can't get that from a google search.

I've wondered this, and then realised typing:

"cud i b pregnet?"

would not bring up "Could I be pregnant?"

Then again, enough people make the same lazy mistakes -- how on earth could it be "pregnet," anyway? It's not even phonetic -- so often that the variations will still bring stuff up.

Including:

"cAN YOU GET PREGNINT FROM SEX IN BUTT?"
"i want to know if i am pregnent and if i am,can i abort it?"
"If I pre- nut in my girl, while wearinga condom, can she still get pregnant? If she skipped her birth control"
"First timers here with pregnancy, could I be pregnant?"

"Pre-nut" is a personal favourite.

Given how quickly similar questions come up, I have to figure that everybody asking thinks theirs is a pretty unique case.

Even though it's not.

"how early can you use a pregnancy test?"
"i am almost 2 weeks delayed in my monthly period. how soon can i use a pregnancy test to know if i'm pregnant?"
"can i already use a pregnancy test even if iam just 2 weeks delay??"

So -- I have no idea. It makes me wonder just how lousy American health care might be, given where all those questions seem to be coming from. Are doctors really that hard to find?

WOW!!! I used to get really angry and aggravated when these people would come on here and ask the, "am i pregnant?" or "what are the signs?" type questions, but now I just answer them and say "take a test" and get the two pts. and it really sucks sometimes b/c people actually answer the question for them instead of telling them to do their own research....

*LOL* Not everyone is like that. There are alot but what can you say. This is a pregnancy section though so what do you expect? A woman sometimes when they're pregnant does feel different and in truth not everyone does experience these things.

hehehe...oddly I was wondering the same thing earlier...

However, to those trying to get pregnant, it's an important aspect of their lives and they want support in any way possible...I guess some find it by asking strangers how probable it is that they are pregnant...*shrugs* I dunno...

Yes, I know it gets tiring but I've gotten to where I just don't read or respond to the questions asking "Am I pregnant?" or "Could I be Pregnant?"

Some people just want others advice. Just like you did by asking this question. But it is your choice to answer them or not. If you get tired of answering them then just don't. There are a lot of first time mothers that don't know and they just want to know what other think. If you don't like it then don't answer them.
