When my wife and I were first married, we were to poor to afford presents. Instead, we decorated our little bamboo plant with one ornament. And then, we made each other cards with pictures we clipped out of magazines of what we wanted to get each other. Without all the gifts, we had a peaceful and meaningful holiday.

The one I'm going to have this year (because it is the first year I'll be a Empty-Nesting Single Retiree (I was a long-term single parent to two disabled children -- and to say it was stressful IS an understatement ...)

when i was at thah cottage wif mah family it was thah last chrimo wif mah grandad :'( i miss him !!
