They keep records of standardized tests.... Most students never have IQ testing.. I did and it was individual ( I refused to do anything in 7th or 8th grade passed because of my IQ).... Most records are only kept while you are in school. The only records kept long term are SAT's. Grades and attendance...No one cares in the adult world if you stuck gum in Susie's hair

If you ever had to take a test in elementary school to get into an accelerated program, it was most likely an IQ test.

In Australia, you are only given an IQ test if your parents consent to it, and even then only if you're suspected to have learning difficulties.

And yes, if you do take one, it is recorded on your permanent record card.

i think they keep certain records like hw and report cards and stuff where you were bad, and possibly health records. but i dont think they have really personal info, like iq, bc i think you have to decide on your own wether to take an iq test or not. yeah...hope i helped a slight bit!

They put me in special classes in primary school and told my parents I was too stupid to do the eleven plus. 5 years later I left high school with an A, two BBs, and 3Cs in GCSE. Turns out the teachers where a little bit catholic.

Yes, they do usually. And yes, you should be allowed to view your records. Ask to see your "cumulative folder" and have the counselor or someone in charge of records translate all of it for you. If they don't want to do this for you, your parents should be allowed to see them at least.
