What was in the box?

1. What do you think was in the box that Tom Hanks' character in Cast Away chose not to open?

I think it was a satellite telephone! Wouldn't that be ironic! LOL! No, it was probably some angel wing sculpture or art and yes, I would have opened the box. I would have hoped for the satellite phone.

I have often times thought about this.. I think that it was a journal....
If I was the character I think that I would have opened the box.. look at all the others that he opened.

I would have hoped to find......hmm not really sure....

You mean that one with the wings? Hell yea I would have opened it. I mean, what did I have to lose? I wasn't going to get fired for it. Well since it had wings, maybe it was a sign that a frozen chicken was inside!!

Who knows, but I saw a funny skit where they made fun of it and he asked the lady what was in the box and she said, "oh nothing, just a flare gun,seeds, first aid kit, etc.." It was pretty funny. then she closed the door.
