best i can tell you is; tell your brat the same as i tell my brats; tell the kid what you are seeing, and dont hold back, be honest, even if it hurts. then be completly honest on how it makes you feel. give good sound advice. then, pray for the best and hope for the rest. good luck. i hope and pray for the best for you. thing i learned over the years from mine is. they going to do what they want no matter how it affects you. i know, i have 6 brats, aged from 29-19. 2 are in prison, i lost every thing i had trying to help them, they could care less. i also learned you wasting your time trying to help those that dont try to help them selves. some times you just have to let them dig their holes and then climb out of it on their own. tough love really sucks. but some times has to be done. again, good luck to you.

someone told me they are 'only onloan'we dont know for how long i;ve been thru the same even at a younger age-the key (i learned) is to let them go -and when you finally stop chasing after them-calling-ECT. ya know what i'm talk'n about =they eventually come 'home' and my 21 year old has come home -not only that but come to know the lord- so as they say'stay patient in the allfiction-yet faithful in prayer-from my tender heart to yours -good 'luck and god bless

There comes a time when you have to ''cut the cord'' or remove yourself from a child's life. At what point do you remove yourself and to what degree only you can know. It will be tough for you no matter what, and my heart, as well as my best wishes go out to you!

She is over 18 and out on her own. You can only help her out so much know she has made her bed know let her lie in it. She will learn from her mistakes. I did.
