I agree... I've only a few good new songs in the last 2 years. Right now, there is alot going on in the underground world of music, so hopefully that will bring out some better artists and music in general for all genres.

I think with all the artists and bands I listen to, every one of them has let me down with their new albums... Staind, Jay Z, Eminem, Evanescence, Tech N9ne, Ludacris (but he hasn't had a decent one in a grip)... the list just goes on.

Thank heavy rotation and the media stranglehold of corporations like Clear Channel Communications. The major labels are less concerned with musical innovation than product placement and packaging.

Until congress sells the rights to the internet to media congomerations, this is the place to find indie releases and underground labels pressing the real shizz. Get it while you can, your congressman will soon cash in on yet another one of our dwindling freedoms.

When it happens...don't bother bitchin 'bout it unless you did somethin to stop it.

Sometimes it just takes awhile before in winds up in a spot where you can hear it. That's especially true for indie artists.
