My friend "Joe" was told if he didn't do better that they would fire him so he left work at lunch and never returned.Thinking his wife and his parents would be mad he told them he got fired.Would you do the same?

No, lying rarely helps any situation. If "Joe" had told his family the truth they could have shared in the emotions of the real situation. Plus, now "Joe" will have to continue lying regarding Cobra insurance coverage, unemployment, etc.

No, If I had taken that line of action I would have to be confident that it was the right thing to do, therefore no reason to lie and I would also expect the support of my family and would be concerned if anyone was "mad" at me for making a PERSONAL decision.

Umm no way would i say that... i would tell the truth but who would walk off the job like that like they said if you dident do better i mean ''Joe'' dident do better then try harder , its a job you need it...

nope, I ask my wife a day ahead of time first

then I ask "If the team says I have to wear Argyle socks to do this job, would I?"

the boss says yes, I say "I quit"

after 4.5 years there

they should be his boss gave him fair warnin all he had to do is improve now he has no job at least if u are gonna quit a job then have another one lined up
