The definition of happiness is truly different for everyone.

For me, it's being loved and admired, feeling like I've accomplished something, and making others happy.

The ability to smile and/or laugh even in the worst circumstances. (laughing may not be appropriate at a funeral, but otherwise...) Happiness is not selfish nor selfless; it is a combination of the two. Happiness is also loving for the sake of loving.

i see a difference between happiness and joy. i think happiness is a sort of temporary satisfaction within life circumstances. i think joy is that inexpressible peace within the core of a being despite life circumstances. my joy comes only through knowing christ, the prince of peace.

hmmmm...lets see. I'm a pschology student and I believe happiness living the life you love and loving the life you live all while putting God first and foremost.
