The closest start system is six light years away and I don't think we'll ever reach the speed of light, Einstein didn't think so either.

To go somewhere and attain that speed, you'd have to reduce speed half way there to stop.

There are as many solar systems as there are known stars with a stable system of planets but the answer is not known and can only be estimated.
A light year is a measure of distance, not speed. A light year is the distance that light travels in a mean solar year. Given that light travels at 186,000 miles per second, you need to do the maths. As a guideline, it takes the light from our sun approximately 8.33 minutes to reach Earth.

To be most accurate, one.
Solar is a latin term meaning 'or or pertainingto the sun', and our sun only. Therefore, the answer is one.
Other planetary systems? Numerous are known, and more are discovered frequently. Planets have been found around the smallest of stars (red dwarfs) and even stellar remnants (neutron stars). The number of potential planetary systems is tremendous.

It is generally accepted that there are billions of billions of "planetary" systems (solar refers to our own system). The current consensus is that it would be more unusual for a star to NOT have planets.

I am not certain exactly, but I believe that the closest extra-solar planetary system discovered is approximately 8 light-years away.

No body knows for sure. Extrasolar systems have only recently been discovered.
