With all this talk of the democrats and republicans i wanted to know that the GOP stood for?

The GOP is The Grand Old(e) Party and it's another name for the Republican party.

In 1994, we stood for small government, less spending, lower taxes, and strong national defense. See the Contract with America.

Recently, Republicans became fat and happy. They deserved to be booted. I stuck with the party because it was the lesser of 2 evils.
