ok ... i am between 10-13 i THINK i had my 1st period but seems to be more a brownish color ........ normal, or is it just not my period?

Hey! I was so embarrased to tell my mom when I got my first period too...didn't tell her for almost like 3 days, but now, I realize that I had nothing to be embarrassed about. There is nothing wrong with telling your mom over the phone, it doesn't have to be in person, you may even feel more comfortable that way. Congrats or sorry (your pick lol) about having your first period! take care

Yes you should talk to your mom about this, even if its over the phone. It is more thatn likely your first period.

some periods are redder, some are brownish, and you know how when blood dries it turns brown like on a scab? maybe thats why.

well my first one was brwonish too... so i think its normal. i would talk to your mom.i know it may seen akward but she is going to find out that you started anyway so you may as well tell her and get it over wiht. she can answer any other questions you have.
