Does Daddy Mac have any serious competition? Would be interesting if Adrian Peterson was returning for senior year, but he ain't.

If all goes well and like it should, I would see these guys as candidates.
Steve Slaton/Pat White - One or the other is going to cancel each other out. Both are very fine runners while Pat White also throws the ball. I would see Slaton in New York then White.
Colt McCoy - Excluding the last two games, he had one of the most productive seasons for a freshman at Texas. His stats were good, and hopefully all of his receivers will be returning (Sweed and Pittman can enter draft).
Colt Brennan - Colt was the leader of passer rating, TD passes, yards, and completion percentage for all of Division 1-A football. Hawai'i's offense does help, but not many quarterbacks can do it like him.
Darren McFadden - If he can play next year like he played the second half of this, he will get the stats needed to be a candidate. He is one of the best backs in the nation, and is workhorse.
John David Booty - He's the QB for USC. Enough said.

I would say D-Mac, but most of the offensive line for the Hogs are seniors and wont be back next year. So he will have to do even better than this year to win. Besides him, I would think J.D. Booty or Colt McCoy.

he may be the QB for USC, But USCs losing both Steve Smith and Dwayne Jarret, so he's going to have to have an exceptional year, mcoy will have to have an amazing year for them to give it to a sophmore, mcfadden will take it if he stays healthy, but if slaton stays at WV look for him to give some competetion

whoever starts at QB for the USC Trojans has a good shot. They will be in the title hunt and that is the key to winning it.
