The best way is to be open and honest, your parents will love you no matter what, and working together as a family is better than handling it alone. All the best.

Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), is a mental condition whereby a single individual evidences two or more distinct identities or personalities, each with its own pattern of perceiving and interacting with the environment. The presumption is that at least two personalities may routinely take control of the individual's behavior. The diagnostic criteria also calls for some associated memory loss that goes beyond normal forgetfulness, often referred to as losing time or acute amnesia. The symptoms of DID must occur independently of substance abuse or a more general medical condition in order to be diagnosed. However DID is quiet rare and dissociation is a demonstrated symptom of several psychiatric disorders, including Borderline Personality Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, to name a few. A pregnancy in itself and the impending birth can be a stressful time especially if other negative things are going on as well, he needs help and you need to look after yourself and the baby foremost.

Sit them down with you and tell them exactly what you've written here. Of course, tell them you "feel" it was caused by that particular seizure, then give them the reasons why.
An appointment should be made with a psychiatrist asap. Do your homework and find a reputable one. With the proper guidance, you should be able to live as normal an existence as anyone.
God speed and good luck to you.

I never heard of a seizure causing a split personality. That is a new one for me. Generally it is caused by severe and prolonged psychological trauma as a mechanism of cooping and surviving.
This was diagnosed by a qualified psychiatrist or psychologist, right? I think it would be best to discuss this with him/her as to the best way as they would be the one best to know you and your personalities.

Poor girl :(
MPD, or Multiple Personalitys Disorder (also known as DID, Dissasociative Identity Disorder) is bad, but you can deal with it ^_^ Just sit your parents down, tell them about the siezure, and then tell them about your personalities.
Get them to take you to a Psychiatrist. He or she will give you a clinical examination to find out if you really have MPD, and if you do, they'll help you deal with it :)
If you need anymore information, just email me :) Good luck!

Okay... which one of you had the seizure?
Chances are... they already know and were looking for a way to tell you...
No biggie. Most people have split personalities. Most people aren't creative enough to actually name them.
Good luck!

They probably already know. You'd be surprised what parents actually do know about you but never mention. They just haven't said anything to you about it because they love and accept you as you are.
