You can have period-like cramps at the beginning of a pregnancy, but you should call you doctor, they might want to do a sonogram. Good luck with your pregnancy!

First of all, please report the person abusing you! Second of all, go ahead and call your doc or the local labor and delivery floor and let them know what happened, how your feeling, etc. They may want you to come in for monitoring. However, the pain could actually be caused by the stretching and growing of your uterus but that is no excuse for the abuse that someone put you through!

Good luck!

Ummmm did you call the police on the person choking and slamming you? If you didnt, i think you should. Also cramping after that you should probabaly go to the ER.

First off i would call the police and have that person who did it arrested! Then call your doc or go to the ER just to get checked out. How could you be "lightly slammed"??? That is ABUSE , my dear, no matter how gentle it was. Stop making excuses for bad behavior.

Being choked and slammed? Maybe you should report whoever did this and then go to the hospital to have your baby checked out.

so why haven't you gone to the hospital yet? you just can't take any chances when you are pregnant. why were you even in that kind of situation in the first place? if it was your boyfriend or husband you need to leave him ASAP. whoever it is doesn't care about your unborn baby so stay away from them.

I wouldn't worry about it unless the cramping doesn't go away.
