how do i tune my guitar to: Drop d
like, what note do i tune each string to?
i'm sorta new at guitar, so i don't know a whole lot

The lowest string (the one that makes the lowest note), you tune it down 2 notes, so that its the same note one octave lower than the 4th string. Drop D is tuned like (from lowest to highest) DADGBe, and when you're in tune (assuming you're not using harmonics or a tuner to tune with,...)

B ----
G ----
D ----
A -0--
D -7--

These two notes will be the same.

Make sure your guitar is in standard tuning then tune the fat E string down to a D note. In tone, it should match the tone of the fourth string.
