Depends on how good of a day I am having. It seems to make them angrier if you are polite and act like you don't have any feelings for whatever they say. On good days I can be unfailingly polite. Otherwise my Irish temper is more likely to show.

Yes, I am quite uncouth. Not to you though, or anyone else I have a grain of respect for. It's hard to remain polite I imagine, but you're going strong. Keep it up!

Never I am always polite my mom raise me that way.Now if someone is rude to me I do strike back that is the human in me.

No. Kill them with kindness is my rule of thumb. People with poisonous tongues eventually drown in their own misery. Why should I allow them even a nanosecond of free space in my life.
Like the dirt on my shoes, I shake it off and move on.

depends are they stupid and rude then yes I can always find something to say that will make their day but as a rule I try to extend courtesy whenever possible
