Amerians, do you think that after 9-11 we should have given patrolling our own borders top priority? How many illegals do you think have crossed our borders since? Do you think we took in more than we sent home?

to much border to patrol for such a small group to do the job. Hundreds of thousands have come in since and only a handful have been sent back and plenty come and go every day just to do day labor.

look at canada there is a road leading into canada from minnesota both border patrol stations are well past the actual border line and half the time no "ranger" is stationed there your supposed to be responsible and go in pick up a phone and report yourself entering and exiting the country it was even shown on a news show afew weeks ago people just drove right past not even slowing down

Because for a terrorist to fly an airliner into a building, it does not matter where he takes off from....and remember that some of the terrorists had visas..It would have been different if a terrorist would have swam across the Rio Grande, walked through the dessert and jumped over the border fence. They all flew into this country...and remember the mexican border is the easiest to cross for poor mexicans. Any wealthy terrorist can just as easily sail into any U.S. port...or for that matter anchor off the coast and take a small tender onto any beach. Im thinking that the money is better spent in technology, and intelligence, tracking known terrorists or suspicious associates. The last thing we need to spent money on is chasing some poor mexican farmer and his family who is just trying to provide for a better life.

Because the 9/11 thing was a big fat smokescreen for getting oil. What a colossal failure those Neocons are.

They can't even cover up the scam by securing the borders.

Guess what. Most people of the world are good. This was a big movie scene with George Bush as the director.

our borders were not given priority because the flow of cheap and I mean cheap labor would cease and then the corporations that really run the government would be displeased greatly displeased so long as corporations want cheap labor our security will never come first so what if we lose a few poor people there are many many more of them it is acceptable and as we all know war is good for business.

because the democrats know that uneducated less intelligent people vote democrat. and since that is what illegal aliens are made up of, they are for them entering this country, forging documents. marching and voting for democrats, and driving w/o proper training and killing true americans, and let terrrorists come into the country to set up sleeper cells as well-destroying the United States. but hey--if u wanna make an omlet u have to break some eggs!! go democrats--good job!!

You mean the border that divides the land that was once theirs from the land that is barely theirs? Oh, that farce of a border.

If you ever want to employ one of the hardest working individuals around you hire an illegal from Mexico. They work harder than four Americans, and that's a fact.
