I tried it about a year ago and absolutely loved it! I could not asked for a better makeup and the best part was that it didn't break me out.....until 3 months later. It started out as a little red patch at the corner of my mouth with little blister like bumps, it got larger day by day so I went to my derm (at the time) and she diagnosed me with exzema and give me a perscription to help clear it up. Well it continued to get worse until it covered the entire area from my eyes down and started to travel to my forehead. After 4 months of this condition and EXTREME dryness and peeling, I went to my mom crying. I could not figure out why my face was like this when I've never had this type of problem before. Then she suggested I take a break from the bare minerals for a few weeks just to rule it out as a suspect. Well I did, needless to say two weeks later and my face was completely clear. I was so disappointed to give it up and miss it. I wonder if any of you have had the same experience?

I have since tried sheer cover, perfect pigment, and other mineral makeup with no satisfaction like I had with the Bare Minerals. Sorry for rambling and thanks for your ideas!

I have somewhat fair skin but not real pale or anything, I've never considered myself to have sensitive skin but it could be a possibility.

I have never ever had dry skin since ive started using bare minerals!! im surprised to hear that about there products because my mom liked it so much that my sister started using it and my sister liked it so much now im using it!! Almost half of my friends use it and i know tons of people besides my friends who use it!! since ive started using bare minerals my skin has just become stofter and look 10x's more even and gorgeous!! you might want to look into the ingredients of the product because you might be allergic to something and it might form some kind of a rash...

Maybe you just had exzema and there was something that contaminated your blush brush and bare minerals that was causing the breakout and not the actual bare minerals. It is suppose to be one of the most natural things you can put on your skin. Maybe what you had, just needed to breath for a while and then you could continue using it. When my face is breaking out or aggravated from the weather, I put on a really good moisturizer and then use the bare minerals. I don't use it all the time but when I do it clears my skin right up.

That sucks, it's so hard to find a good product that's right for sensitive/problem skin. I also have excema on my face but only started using Bare Minerals in the last few weeks. And yes I like it so far, still getting the hang of using the brushes.
But, maybe like changing your shampoo regularly to avoid build-up etc, you just need a small break from Bare Minerals. Maybe your skin just got too used to it? It's a shame to completely give up something that works for you. I would suggest you try it again and then maybe, every now and then, switch it up with another product.
Good luck!

Well, I am white initially so I do not have a lot enter on that aspect. I recognize they have got colours for terribly gentle dermis tones to very darkish dermis tones. But... I had been utilizing Bare Minerals for over one 12 months and I am HOOKED! My husband purchased me a starter package for my birthday considering that I had obvious the commecials and simply notion I needed to have it. Well I used to be proper. It is real the whole thing it claims to be. I have very reasonable, freckled dermis that breaks out quite simply. This make-up covers freckles, blemishes, you identify it. And it does all of it with out being caky or watching like you could have plenty of make-up on. It takes slightly being used to it so far as the software. It's very one of a kind from steady liquid or cream groundwork however you'll be able to get the dangle of it. Do your self a prefer and simply take a look at it. I promise you are going to find it irresistible. ~Christi

If you already had naturally dry skin then you should not use a powder or mineral powder you should use liquid or put the skin re-ver upper or a moisturizer on before the bare minerals.

No, that did not happen to me. Maybe you were just allergic to it. I did not like bare minerals but it was for different reasons - like messiness that turned me off.
