Okay, I hear some say it's normal and some say that it can't happen. The thing is is her period day is on time but she is feeling prego. But it was a week ago when we did have sex. So I'm asking, is it possible her body is telling her she is pregnant even though her period is on time? And we are planning to have one and hope so we tried 4 times on different nights. Am I being clear? =]] I just really want to know if a week or so after the (hopefull) conception is to soon and if a schedule period matters because of the timing? Thanks.

It is totally possible to be pregnant and have a period. It happened to me ! My period was actually a few days after conception so I had no idea I was pregnant till a few months later. After the period, wait a couple of days and take a test.

I can't be sure if I am right, but I am going through the same thing kind of. I had a period on Nov.5 and Then again on Nov.28 and had 2 positive tests with faint lines on Dec. 2 and over the week had the same on 3 more tests. But I thought I got my period, but if I remember, it was lighter that usual. Alot of people are telling me it may have been implantation bleeding, which happens about the same time that the menstrual period happens. Look into that on the net. I to feel pregnant, my breast are sore and I am bloated. Ask her what symptoms she is having, or if any. I am not sure if I helped you, so sorry if I didn't.

Getting a normal period means you're not pregnant.

If it is different at all ... lighter, shorter, no cramping, etc ... then there's a possibility because then it could be implantation bleeding. However, if it seems like a regular period, it's not implantation bleeding and thus she is not pregnant.

Some women do BLEED during pregnancy, but getting something as heavy and long-lasting as a normal period is very rare and is not a good sign.
