He had a wall built and made a few speeches. Both will have little or no effect on keeping illegal immigrants from crossing the border. 90% of his focus has been on the cival war in Iraq for the past 3 &1/2 years, and on providing tax breaks for the wealthy, giving incentives for companies to ship jobs overseas, and easing pollution control restrictions the rest of the time. I could name other failed Bush policies but it's really pointless.

The only thing Bush has done to discourage illegal immigration to the US is simply by being President of the US, after all who would want to live in a country for as long as such an imbicile making so many screwups is President?

Are you kidding, we've done a fantastic job improving the immigration problem. Of course it's still a real problem, but that's not Bush's fault, that's 40 years of neglect. We are returning more illegal immigrants, catching more, than ever before, and in the last year we have deported 77,000 criminal aliens. There have been vast improvements since the restructure after 9/11.

He created the guest worker program in 2004, and made it legal for them to come here and take jobs from people who hire illegals. now they aren't doing anything illegal!
