I like sad classical music like moonlight sonata. I also like the Angels of the Universe soundtrack (Sigur Ros).

Nature sounds always helps me relax....like rivers, rainforests etc...it takes your mind away...in a good way. Never play music with words...because in your mind you are saying the words, and not devoting your whole mind to studying.

You're right about Sigur Ros- they're awesome to study to.
Normally I use stuff without lyrics so I won't be distracted
Try looking up some Bach, Broken Social Scene (instrumentals) and ( I know this sounds strange) video game soundtracks- if there's a game out there you really love, chances are there's some decent classical attached to it.
Look up Cloud's Theme (orchestrated) and Aeris' Theme (orchestrated) on any P2P sharing network. They're both songs from Final Fantasy VII and as nerdy as it sounds they're really gorgeous and help me to study.

If you don't mind lyrics, check out Regina Spektor, Feist and The Doors.
