ok before i asked why METALLICA is the best band ever...... this time answer why they are or what other band ranks up there with them! (this means no dethroning of METALLICA only ties... and it has to be nonemo and nonrap... particularly before the 90's plz!)

You love METALI-FAHKIN-CA. OK. If I'm putting another true METAL band in with them, then Iron Maiden definitely fits the bill. They are legends and I've NEVER seen them put on a bad show and they continue to record incredible albums.

Metallica has a very wide influence on much of metal today. I'd say Iron Maiden definitely ranks up there with Metallica. Both of them are legendary.
