I'm sorry but is this her baby, is she having the baby herself?

Your newborn will come when its ready, don't try to push it.

If you do want to try to induce labour then try walking, spicy foods and having sex is also a good way to induce labour.

But don't listen to anyone else, do what you want to do.

Tell her no... at 36 weeks there is still a 35 % chance that the baby will have respiratory problems.... Especially if it is a boy. Boys have higher rates of breathing problems. The baby will come when it is ready and better developed.

Tell her no!!! your sister isnt you!!! why would you think to give her the authority? you need to understand at 36 weeks the baby can survive with little to no problems, but i would definentally wait untill you are 38 weeks to even 40 weeks to be sure the lungs are fully developed. that can make a big difference in the childs development in the early months of life. Please just tell her to back off and be paitient. Good luck, and i think she is giving the wrong advice, and I suggest you talk to your doc over her....

Tell your sister to back off! The baby will be born when the baby is ready to be born! While 36 weeks is usually okay to deliver a child, it's better if they "cook" a bit longer...

seriously, tell her to back the F*** off.

Is your sister a midwife or a doctor? If not, don't listen to her! She doesn't know what she is talking about.
Inducing labor under 37 weeks is very risky.
The safest way is to wait till your baby is ready to come out!
You will know when your baby is ready to born when your water breaks or when you start having contractions.

I'm curious to how she thinks she can put you into labor to begin with.

Many of these "methods" don't and WON'T work unless both your body, and our baby are ready.

Some of these natural "inductions" can cause both you and your baby serious harm.

Let nature take it's course... and welcome you're little one when he or she is READY to meet the aunt.

Relax !!! Soon...... soon.

Tell her to go get pregnant!!! Leave you alone and tell her she just lost any chance of the baby(if it's a girl) being named after her! Tell her you love her but too BUTT OUT!!!

Tell her what you feel is right; this is your baby not hers. the baby will come when it is time unless the doctor sees another reason why you need to be induced. but it is your choice . -good luck
