Education is good the problem is we have disconnect what the marketplace wants for education, and colleges not providing the right training. I believe the problem is not the lack of money, so much its funding in education are uttlery useless in the workplace. Goverment funding should not go towards education programs were the job gets shipped overseas, but I belive the private sector can provide any education you want in higher ed too. When taxdollars are on the line I err on the side, why did the university build a 200 million dollar staduim, but they could not explain to the taxpayer why they could not get basics for the classroom. Its efficency of education that peeves me off, and is it worth for a 18 years old kid to get degree get a job, and a couple years later the job done in India, and then the young kid is stuck with debt, and he the taxpayer just wasted the kid useful knowledge.

The answer is yes and no.

It is over rated in the fact that a good portion of very successful
people never finished high school.

However if you want to be a doctor or lawyer you need a good
education. There are some other areas were an education is
important.

Thank you very much, while you're up!!
