Ok, in some babies this is normal. My son's stools changed when I started him on solids. And the color did too. For instance, if he had carrots, his stool would be red. If he had pees, green. Etc. It is very normal. His bowels are growing up basically, getting used to being used. Remember, they've only been active for 10 months! However, if you are still worried, call your pediatrician.

He has had the exact same diet ??? If he is still on formula and not getting any jar foods then i dont know that this is normal, and would ask your pediatritian about it. But if he is getting onto jar food,s it could just be the food reacting to the enzymes in his digestive tract. I would watch the diarhhea close, but dont change his diet... if he looks to be having to many super loose stools then give him some gatorade or pediasure/pedialyte... whatever the baby electrolyte drink is you perfer... I just gave my little girl gaotrade.... helps alot. Good luck! hope all turns out well.

He eating solids at all by 10 months I'd assume he is. His waste is the product of what you are feeding him. My son today had stool the color of a gray crayon and then a deep green. I swear the sounds and smells that come out of babies should be listed as warning labels when we give birth. how something so small and cute can smell so bad I'll never understand.

With all three of my children, they would get diarrhea anywhere from 5 -7 days before the tooth would pop out.
