The US would be a much better place. He would likely have been cued in early in his term about Al-Qaeda and maybe even help prevent the 9-11 attacks. Even if they did occur, he and the top brass would do some surgical air strikes to weaken them in Afghanistan and maybe even kill or capture Osama. Iraq wouldn't factor in because Gore would realized from intelligence that there were no WMDs. There'd be more environmental regulations in place, and less crushing tax incentives that have benefited the rich and left the lower class hurting. And if he got the alternative energy ball rolling, we might even have more hybrids and similar vehicles that wouldn't need all the oil we're paying hand over fist for today!

There'd be no disaster in New Orleans. Gore would have acted faster, and appointed better qualified people than idiots from his "buddy's circle".

Foreign relations would be better. Our country wouldn't be a laughing stock because we'd have a President who was articulate and intelligent. No tipsy or boozy twin daughters embarassing people, and Joe Liebermann would probably not go shooting hunting partners in the face. Overall, a great prospect stolen by the cons in the Supreme Court and Katherine Harris (who lost big time in Florida, recently). :)

We were at war long before 9/11/01. The only difference with Bush as pres is that we are fighting back. Had Gore won, we'd still be lobbing $1 million missiles at $10 tents & sometimes hitting camels in their butts.

No we would have extended an olive branch to bin laden and asked him what we could do to make him hate us less.Maybe invited him to the U.N. so he could explain why he killed 3000 innocent people. Then we could say we were sorry for all the wrongs we have done in the world and offered him a position in the cabinet. Then we could have promised that we would not buy any more oil and we could all resort to riding bicycles. Then with his wife in charge of the music industry,we could outlaw all offensive lyrics on cds. Then we could outlaw all guns, except for the police and militaryOh and I almost forgot, were it not for Mr. Gore,I would not be speaking my mind on the internet that he created..

Who knows? I wonder if all the short bus types out there would still be claiming 911 was an inside job. As a matter of fact an awful lot of people ( air america ,daily kos,New york Times, etc) would have to find something to do other than making up left wing bs to spew out all the time.

We would probably still have trade towers standing in New York, considering Gore and Clinton were on the ball with the airline security, even though a republican domiated congress trimmed most of their purposals!

Burying a lot of people over here from terrorists. War, yes we wold be, but it would be here. I am from Tennessee, and even here we realize that he would have been the wrong choice no matter who ran against him. Remember, his wife would be first lady and she is the one who tried to stop free speech in music by requiring labels with warnings for offensive lyrics. Do you not think she would be telling him what to do?

No war with Al Gore. Only diplomacy, ingenious plans and an OPEN government for the people and by the people.

Gore was God's rightful heir to the US Presidential throne at this point in civilization, in order to highlight and stave off global warming, but his mission to save the world was curtailed when the seat was stolen by the Bush Administration.

The United States would be a greater, safer place to live. We would fight the real environmental issues that need to be delt with NOW. There would be no unnessicary war in Iraq. We would stick up for Isreal more than we are now. We would take out China, etc. Overall, the US would be stronger and better place to live.
