This happened to me...There could be alot of factors. Is there a distraction in your life that you didn't have before? Are your emotions fluctuating? Is there a boy? Are you fighting with your parents more often? Are you just flat out losing interest? There are so many things that can make you lose focus. When you lose focus you go downhill. All you need to do is sit down and figure out what needs your attention the most. Figure out a game-plan to set yourself straight. Balance fun time and study time. Yes, much easier said than done, I know :P , but if you do this I promise your grades will go up...I was in jepordy of being kicked out of the National Honor Society in high school. I brought my GPA up from a 3.0 to a 3.5 in one semester! It was very very very hard, but possible. Anything is possible if you are devoted to hard work and just keep goin.

Hope any of this helped you :) Good luck with everything!!!

You're probably losing focus...you're being distracted by the social aspects of school and maybe not taking your studies seriously. Ask yourself...
Are you finding yourself thinking more about your friends and social events than school?
Is your family coming 2nd not 1st?
Do you care about gossip and what everyone has to say about each other and you?
Does your mind wander?
Are you bored?
Do you seem to be getting into more and more trouble and you don't know why?
Do you sleep alot?

Take a piece of paper and a pen and write down EVRYTHING that's bothering you...sometimes when you LOOK at it on paper- in your own handwriting, you find out what the problem is...

Now- I don't want to lecture you- I want to help you. I just want you to realize that if it's your friends that are causing your disinterest in school- you may want to re-evaluate your relationshiops with them. I don't know how old you are...the only thing that I can tell you is that by the time you get out of High School, most of the friends you have now won't be your friends then and if you have focused your whole school career on blowing off your studies and putting your friends and their opinions as your #1 priority...you're going to end up sacrificing your young adult life, your future career and your general success!

You know how everyone says, "Teenagers only think about themselves!" You SHOULD think about yourself because you're not too far away from starting an adult life and living on your own and you should do it under the influence of nothing but YOURSELF!

BTW- I think you're VERY mature for even asking for help...

NOW GO STUDY!!!! LOL!

I think when your reaching the teen life, be more alert and active cause there were things that may challenge you, think about the things that block your way on reaching the things that you like. have a care on the things around you. don't think that changes served as obstacles, those were just things that will improved and developed youself from good to much better

Yes, this can happen to anyone. Hormones get in the way and it gets hard to concentrate. I dont know if this happens to girls more than guys, but it certainly can deflect you at a time when you need to concentrate most.

High school of course is a different kind of education than primary school. Education is more structured and more specific. Perhaps you need to change your study tactics, and use your teenage social skills to get together in study groups. School can be fun if you take the right tact .

High school is a lot more challenging, so maybe you're used to not having to try AS HARD to make good grades. You might just have to adjust. It happened to me.

If you cant pay attention or have trouble studying or doing homework than you might have a mild case of ADD. Its not bad. I promise. Talk to your mom to make an appointment to see a doctor. They can give you medacine to help this.
I really hope I helped you.

if you care about the life of your dream then you have nothing that can make you change your mind on social life.
